3 emphasis coating technology
  Coating is an effective means to  12 inch saw blade improve cutting performance, companies have attached great importance to this. In coating technology, currently has a single layer to multilayer development, combining different coating materials for overlapping multilayer coating, which can effectively improve the tool cutting performance. For example, the outermost layer coated with TiN, can reduce friction with the chip; second layer is coated Al2O3, can improve the tool in front of anti-adhesion and anti-wear properties; third layer is coated TiCN, to improve the anti-wear and anti-back front wear performance.
Tool surface coating multilayer coating, the hardness of up to 2500 ~ 3000HV, heat resistance has also been greatly improved, even if cutting temperature reaches 850 ~ 900 ℃ high temperature, tool material will still not be oxidized, and maintain good hardness. Multilayer coating can improve the toughness, the surface of the tool difficult to flap wheels  extend to the internal crack, therefore, can effectively prevent the generation of chipping.
The coating materials, TiC and TiN coating for high-speed cutting of steel, diamond and CBN coating has reached a practical level. The most notable is the diamond coating, in the cutting process, as the temperature rises, diamond easily decomposed into graphite, therefore, can not be used with carbon steel machining, diamond coated tool is mainly used for aluminum light alloy high-speed high-precision machining of materials.
